Two of the guys from That '70s Show are reuniting for a brand-new comedy set to air on Netflix. Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson will star in the sitcom, The Ranch, premiering at some point in 2016. As first reported by Deadline on Wednesday, The Ranch will be only the second multi-camera comedy to air at the online-streaming site.
In The Ranch, 37-year-old Ashton and 39-year-old Danny will play brothers reunited at their family's Colorado ranch. With Ashton's character returning home after a stint playing semi-professional football over, he will need to join his brother in running the family business.
The Ranch will also reunite Ashton with another pair of former colleagues, show creators Don Reo and Jim Patterson, who were previously showrunners on Two And A Half Men.
Although there is no set premiere date for the comedy, reports have indicated that it will come with a new release format for Netflix. Instead of episodes premiering weekly (as on broadcast television) or all at once (as Netflix usually does), the online network may release two sets of 10 episodes throughout a year. The Ranch joins an ever-increasing slate of original programming at Netflix.
Since they finished That '70s Show, both Ashton and Danny have remained active in their careers. Ashton most recently played Walden Schmidt in the final seasons of Two And A Half Men, while Danny co-starred as Milo Foster on the cable comedy, Men At Work.
There has been no word yet on whether or not any other That '70s Show alums - including Ashton's wife, Mila Kunis - might appear on The Ranch.
