Tasty Liver

Naturally and instinctively, one might recoil from the prospect of eating liver. The texture and taste might not be to everyone’s liking…. until NOW!

Wow your family with this recipe and see if “liver” will be banned from your kitchen table again!

Serves 4


  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 4 thin cuts of veal liver, cut into 1-inch strips
  • Salt, pepper and pepper flakes to taste


  • Add all ingredients to a covered frying plan at medium heat.
  • Cook thoroughly until onions are carmelized and veal is cooked to taste
  • Serve together with a robust red wine

    I have cooked this before and it is delicious, it is called venetian style liver.
